We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Administrator to provide administrative support to the Group, Teams, and Senior Team Coordinators. In this role, you will manage essential tasks to ensure smooth operations, including travel arrangements, team event coordination, and assisting with various administrative functions. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficient and organized running of the business.

The Opportunity

  • Provide administrative support for group activities, including managing calendars, team events, and logistics.
  • Assist in client invoicing, debt collection, and credit control tasks.
  • Support the team with document production, including formatting and compiling reports according to Arup’s standards.
  • Coordinate staff on/off-boarding, vacation student and graduate interviews, and training support.
  • Help with commercial and project support tasks, such as client relationship management and project close-outs.

Is this role right for you?

  • Previous experience in administrative roles within a consulting, engineering, or built environment business.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Outlook, Word; Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, process-driven approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism.
  • A customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to confidentiality and teamwork.
