The Role
- Actively oversee the day-to-day operations of the service
- Ensure service is compliant with all service, state and NQS policies and legislations
- Create a fun, collaborative and stimulating environment for team members
- Creating and maintaining effective communication and partnerships with the families
- Mentoring team members to meet the standards and quality practices
- Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all children, team and community
Role Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved qualification)
- Prior experience within a 2IC position
- Extensive knowledge of the EYLF and NQS frameworks
- Effective communication skills in order to collaborate with the team, families and community
- Thorough knowledge of early childhood policies and practices
The Company
This is a 24 place not for profit service looking for their next team member. Opening its doors from 7:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This service strongly prioritises building and maintaining strong relationships with the parents and families of the children in the centre. With a long-standing team the management in this centre focus on providing the support their educators need. Training is also provided helping you grow and develop alongside the centre. Located beside a local Football field the children are brought on many excursions throughout the week.
