Job Description

Lotus Place is a dedicated support service and resource centre for people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings. Lotus Place provides integrated peer support, advocacy, counselling, and other support services to people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings services. Lotus Place exist in three locations: Brisbane, Rockhampton, and Townsville from which outreach to surrounding communities occurs through an integrated funding response by the Australian and Queensland governments.

Lotus Place is seeking a highly organised and dedicated Administration Worker to join our team in Central Queensland. Our organisation is committed to providing services and support to individuals and families affected by childhood abuse in institutional settings. The Administration Worker will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our office, allowing us to continue our vital work in the community.

Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional administrative support to the Lotus Place team, including but not limited to calendar management, coordinating meetings, and responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required by the team.
  • Process and maintain accurate records of client information, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to privacy policies and procedures.
  • Manage the procurement and maintenance of office supplies, ensuring cost efficiency and effectiveness.
