About the School
Northern Beaches State High School has grown to become the premier school of choice for parents and students in the rapidly growing Northern Beaches area of Townsville. Until the high school opened in 1997, students had been forced to go all the way into town to continue their secondary schooling, meaning long days travelling on buses.
About the Role
As the administration officer you will provide efficient and effective support in areas of enrolments , data entry, administration and reception services. The role will include both student services and front reception and involves interactions with students parents, staff and the wider community. You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities will include providing routine reception services including receiving telephone calls, over the counter enquiries, arranging appointments, correspondence and general administrative support.
We use One School, Microsoft Suite, ID Attend/absences of students, SMS absences, late and departure slips, receipting of payments and receive absence phone calls. Administering of first aid and management may also be required.
You will also be required to undertake receipting of payments and undertake work activities in a co-operative and supportive manner as an active member of a diverse work team.
