Business Analyst – Applications6 month contract positionLooking for a seasoned BA to support an Application Consolidation Program. This role will assess our current Business / Technology Application portfolio and engage with business stakeholders to determine the best course of action for each Application.That could be merge the Applications, Retire or turn it off!
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse the existing IT and Business Applications list- Collaborate with business units to identify applications that can be retired, merged into a single platform, or decommissioned- Provide recommendations based on business needs, technical feasibility, and cost reductions- Ensure alignment with strategic IT and Business objectives and governance standards.
Some of the Applications are niche to this business but experience with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Applications across Manufacturing - Order Management, Inventory Management, Finance & Accounting, Billing, Invoicing, Logistics or Supply Chain would be well regarded but not essential.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement skills and demonstratable experience in Application Lifecycle management and Business Process Optimisation. You'll need excellent requirements elicitation and documentation skills, run workshops or sessions with the business stakeholders when needed.
The role is hybrid with 3 days per week on-site near Brisbane Airport.Initial 6 month contract with possibility to extend.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia.
