Key Responsibilities:

Service Engineer (Level 1)

  • Manage incoming support requests via emails, calls and monitoring alerts, being the first point of contact for our clients and providing excellent customer service.
  • Review and validate incoming requests for completeness and accuracy, categorising based on urgency.
  • Resolve IT issues efficiently, ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Diagnose and address hardware, software, network, or cloud issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, changes, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Engineer (Level 2)

  • Resolve IT issues efficiently, both offsite and onsite, with regular on-call support, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure timely resolutions of request, manage client expectations, and follow up for satisfaction.
  • Analyse client environments to recommend solutions, reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Share expertise and mentor junior technicians to build team knowledge.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, providing training as required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, changes, and compliance.

A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science , or an equivalent field is ideal.

  • Windows Desktop & Server Management
  • Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra Cloud technologies
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Intune
  • Microsoft Collaboration and Voice Technologies
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
  • Backup, Antivirus & Endpoint protection
  • IP Networking (LAN, SDN & WAN)
