Description:

Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor, the Weighbridge/Operational Support will be a highly organised individual with outstanding communication skills with the ability to work autonomously.

You will work closely with the Fairfield and Clermont Quarry teams and the office-based administration support team.

A range of roster options can be discussed for the right candidate as we have camp accommodation available.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately monitor and allocate trucks as required.
  • Operate computerised weighbridge system and other work-related systems
  • Assist with HSE compliance and participate is the company Safety Programs
  • Maintain a safe system of work in the workplace.
  • Comply with safety instructions relating to personnel entering site and communication.
  • Project support to the quarry and concrete sites
  • Entering of jobs into weighbridge and deactivating old jobs
  • Checking sales emails for tender opportunities
  • Quotes for internal and external customers
  • Assist with all general administrative/quarry tasks as required.

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Provide a high level of administration to the Management team particularly with reporting and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with external and internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Be very organised, have great interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Current drivers licence
  • Experience in administration and logistics operations
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
  • Advanced computer skills along with well-developed organisation skills.
  • Previous Weighbridge experience is highly valued
