We are seeking a Marketing Assistant (Copywriting) to join our team for a 6-month full-time or part-time role. In this position, you will play a key role in creating accurate and effective content for the Support At Home Program transition.As a Marketing Assistant (Copywriting), you will provide essential administrative support to the Marketing & Communication Officer, ensuring smooth workflow within the marketing team. You will also play a significant role in writing and editing content for newsletters, magazines, websites, and EDMs. A key focus will be reviewing and updating marketing materials to align with the Support At Home Program transition, ensuring all content is accurate and relevant for our audience. Additionally, you will help maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication platforms.
In collaboration with the team, you will update content on MMACG’s websites and digital platforms as needed, contributing to the overall marketing strategy. You will also assist in creating copy for social media and online campaigns, enhancing audience engagement and brand visibility.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate or advanced level. Demonstrated experience in copywriting and storytelling is essential, as you will be creating compelling narratives related to the Support At Home Program.
While experience in marketing or a similar position is desirable, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with Mailchimp, Canva, and website builders would be advantageous. Additionally, experience in developing promotional materials and campaigns would be beneficial.
A tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is desirable but not required, especially if you are currently working towards one.
