Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Test Chef to join our team in Alice Springs. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in food and cooking, with a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
– Assist senior chefs with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, seasoning meats, and following recipes
– Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
– Monitor food temperatures during cooking processes
– Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when items need restocking
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary education or training is a plus
– Previous experience working in a kitchen setting is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates
– Willingness to learn new skills on the job
– Food Safety Certificate is advantageous
