**Job Description:**
As an Event Security Personnel at Neptune NT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of various events in Darwin, including the upcoming Darwin Cup, Chariots of Thunder, and other exciting events. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment for event attendees, preventing unauthorized access, handling crowd control, and addressing any security concerns that may arise during the events.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Monitor access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter the event premises.
– Conduct bag checks and implement necessary security measures to prevent prohibited items from entering the event area.
– Maintain a visible presence and provide a reassuring presence for event attendees.
– Handle crowd control efficiently and effectively, ensuring the safety of all participants.
– Respond promptly and professionally to any security incidents or emergencies that may occur during the events.
– Collaborate with event organizers, venue staff, and local authorities to maintain a secure environment.
– Complete incident reports and document any security-related incidents as per company protocols.
**Requirements:**
– Prior experience in event security or a related field is preferred, but not essential. We provide training and support to candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.
– Must hold a valid security license or be willing to obtain one before commencing employment.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
– Physical fitness and stamina to stand and patrol for extended periods.
– Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
