The Client
Our client is a well established, growing, supplier and distributor of high end furniture and interior products for the residential and commercial interiors market across WA . They are highly regarded and respected and are seeking to employ an experienced Business Development Manager to continue the growth of the business in WA.
The Role
Your new role will be based from their Perth Head office and will see you out on the road with a variety of decision makers in the commercial fit out market.
You will be responsible for driving sales and specifications and dealing direct with builders, developers, Project Managers, Facility Managers and Commercial End Users. We are seeking a proactive relationship builder with strong local industry sales experience and exposure to selling high end interior fit out products. You will be supported by a local in house estimating team, meaning you can focus on building relationships with your clients and closing deals.
Skills Required
We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following skills;
- Previous successful experience in a business development role within the high end commercial furniture / decorative interiors industry in Perth.
- Previous experience of selling premium brands associated with furniture and interiors.
- Some A&D sales exposure and understanding of the sales/specification process.
- Solid commercial acumen with strong reporting skills.
The starting salary package is NEG Based on your experience - circa $100-110K + Super + Car or Allow + Uncapped Commission.
