**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Workshop Manager with a strong background in the automotive industry, specifically in auto electrical services. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of the industry, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations efficiently. This role will involve overseeing workshop activities, managing customer bookings, promoting the business, handling sales, and ensuring effective parts ordering and restocking.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Workshop Management:**
- Oversee daily operations of the workshop, ensuring high standards of service and productivity.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
2. **Customer Service & Booking Management:**
- Manage customer bookings and ensure efficient scheduling of workshop services.
- Maintain clear communication with customers regarding service timelines, repairs, and updates.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide quotes, and address concerns professionally.
3. **Sales & Business Promotion:**
- Promote the business to increase customer acquisition and retention.
- Identify opportunities for sales growth and business expansion.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to boost business visibility.
4. **Staff Management:**
-Manage a small team of staff, job delegations
- Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high morale.
5. **Parts Ordering & Inventory Management:**
- Oversee parts ordering and inventory management, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective parts procurement.
- Manage parts restocking and ensure the workshop has the necessary components for daily operations.
6. **Collaboration with Accounts Management:**
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
- Manage financial aspects related to workshop operations, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
- Assist in tracking workshop expenses and profitability.
**Key Requirements:**
- Proven experience in a workshop or automotive service management role, particularly in auto electrical services.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, repairs, and industry best practices.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong sales and marketing capabilities, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
- Ability to manage inventory and parts ordering efficiently.
- Familiarity with accounts management processes, including invoicing and budgeting.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Relevant certifications in automotive repair or management.
- Previous experience with workshop management software and tools.
- Knowledge of the latest automotive trends and technology.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
