- Lead the successful implementation of contaminated site studies across operational and legacy sites.
- Provide subject matter expert reviews on consultant reports and study deliverables Coordinate the assessment, management and remediation of contaminated sites Application of national and state contaminated sites regulatory frameworks and technical guidelines.
- Provide advice to internal stakeholders on the effective management of contaminated sites
- Provide technical input and assist with regulatory applications and participate in external regulatory compliance audits (as required) across the operations.
- Convey scientific and technical information to internal and external stakeholders
- Estimate, scope, and contribute to cost modelling of required remediation and closure work including driving decision evaluation and identification of best execution pathway to achieve optimum environmental and economic outcomes
- Tertiary qualifications in a discipline relevant to contaminated sites
- Background in Mining operations- contaminated sites is desirable.
- Extensive experience in contaminated sites.
- Experienced with ArcGIS software is essential
- A strong commitment towards leading a safe work culture.
- Demonstrated ability to work within large multi-disciplinary teams and strong stakeholder engagement ability.
- Ability to communicate effectively and constructively with senior business leaders and other technical stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication.
