If you would like to be considered to complete work experience or your practical hours for your Pool Lifeguard qualification at the South West Sports Centre, please submit an expression of interest.
To apply, please complete all the questions in our questionnaire.
Eligibility for Practical Placements:
- Completion of Royal Life Saving WA Pool Lifeguard course.
- Completion of HLTAID011 - Provide first aid.
All work experience requests must come through our online portal to be considered.
We accept requests from students undertaking qualifications through Royal Life Saving as well as general requests. Please note that successful placements will require the applicant to supply proof of insurance coverage and a valid Working with Children Check (if applicable) before they can commence.
Once the work experience request is received, we will liase with the relevant department to see if we can accomodate your placement and notify you of the outcome.

Every effort will be made to accommodate the request, however we have limited spaces available for practical placements.
