About the Role:
As a Workplace Relations Advisor or Senior Workplace Relations Advisor at AREEA (Associate or Senior Associate equivalent) you'll play a pivotal role within our esteemed national workplace advisory team.
Working either on a full-time or part-time basis, you'll provide expert guidance and support to resources and energy companies on a broad range of workplace relations matters.
From enterprise bargaining strategy to regulatory compliance, you'll deliver top-tier advice and services to our diverse range of members, spanning from large ASX Top 10 corporations to small and medium-sized enterprises across various sectors including mining, oil and gas, engineering, logistics, maritime, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality advice on workplace policy, legislation, and regulation.
- Manage matters of varying complexity, sensitivity, and commercial impact within specified deadlines.
- Foster and grow relationships through effective stakeholder management and business development.
- Stay updated on workplace relations and employment law trends relevant to the resources sector.
- Maintain awareness of industry concerns through engagement with members and industry stakeholders.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in workplace relations, employee relations, or employment law.
- Passion for problem-solving in the workplace and fostering best practice workforce management.
- Professional work ethic and a positive attitude conducive to both teamwork and autonomous service provision.
- Expertise in industrial relations practices, workplace relations laws, regulations, and institutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships and provide practical and strategic advice.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, industrial relations, human resources, or related fields.
- Experience in the resources, energy, or associated industries, and/or within an industry association (preferred).
