What You'll Be Doing:
Transaction Processing:
- Handle monthly bank reconciliations and keep an eye on cashflows.
- Manage company cards for all entities and complete monthly journals in MYOB.
- Take care of employee expense claims.
- Do AP coding and reconciliation, including supplier statement reconciliations. Prepare and load payment runs for bills.
- Draft AR invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Prepare purchase orders for both project and corporate costs.
- Set up new customers and suppliers.
- Spot process and system improvements to boost data quality and efficiency.
- Help prepare monthly management accounts for all trading group companies, including budget reporting.
- Assist with annual financial statements and audits, including gathering necessary documentation.
- Manage the fixed asset register for all group companies to ensure accurate financial and tax reporting.
- Answer accounting-related questions from team members.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with MYOB Acumatica (formerly MYOB Advanced) and ideally TRAILD invoice processing system.
- Solid experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Good familiarity with month-end processes and GST.
- Ability to handle complex project coding and purchase orders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer solutions.
- Independence and the ability to ask insightful questions.
Work Environment:
- Option to work from home one day per week, but we prefer office work for better collaboration and team spirit.
- Line manager based in Sydney.
