- ASAP Start - Initial 3 month contract
- $50 - $54.29 per hour + super (depending on experience)
The Role
In this role you will provide high level, efficient administrative support to senior management and the wider department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- The coordination of meetings, diary maintenance, provision of a reception service, arrangement of training and travel, procurement of stationery and deliveries, and arrangement of the maintenance of office machines.
- Providing word processing services using appropriate software packages to prepare documents, such as memoranda, correspondence, reports and procedure manuals, to ensure documents meet relevant standards and are completed in specified timeframes.
- Creating, maintaining and distributing files and documents, in accordance with records management procedures, to enable efficient retrieval of information as required.
- Raising purchase order requests for goods and services, process invoices for payment, in accordance with procurement policies and procedures, to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Providing support in the collation and production of key management reports, to assist with the accurate and timely provision of information.
- Distributing circulars and all correspondence, including incoming mail and faxes, to keep managers and staff informed and enable them to respond to necessary matters within required timeframes.
To be successful in this role you will be a strong Administration professional, with a professional and friendly manner, who is able to successful manage competing priorities. Your skills and experience will include:
- Demonstrated experience in an Administration Support role.
- Experience in using Microsoft software packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and in preparing correspondence and reports.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- A drivers licence.
- Previous experience working with a government organisation would be advantageous.
