About the Project
Parklife Metro JV is leading a transformative Metro project connecting St Marys to Bradfield, linking with the new Western Sydney Airport currently under construction. This joint venture with Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild aims to deliver 6 new stations, 12 metro trains, core rail systems, and a state-of-the-art stabling and maintenance facility at Orchard Hills.

The Opportunity
Parklife Metro is seeking a Project Engineer – Fit Out and Facade to join our dynamic and growing team on one of NSW's largest infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a Tier 1 Metro project while focusing on fit out and facade works.
This full-time role is based onsite at St Marys Station Box , and the successful candidate will work closely with senior engineering teams to ensure the fit out and facade works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Support the management of fit out and facade works on the project, ensuring all works are delivered according to schedule and meet required quality standards.
  • Assist in the coordination and management of design elements, liaising with internal and external teams to resolve issues and ensure designs are executed effectively.
  • Contribute to the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Health & Safety (H&S) procedures within the project, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize IT systems, including Bluebeam , Microsoft Project, and other Microsoft systems, to track project progress, manage documentation, and collaborate with the team.
  • Work closely with site teams to assist in the day-to-day management of fit out and facade activities, ensuring the effective delivery of all related tasks.
  • Assist in identifying and addressing any risks or issues that arise during the project, providing proactive solutions.
  • Provide support in preparing reports on project performance, quality assurance, and safety for senior management.
  • Foster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that the team adheres to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations and regulatory frameworks.
  • Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement across all areas of work.
Criteria
  • Tier 1 building background with relevant experience in fit out and facade works within large-scale construction projects.
  • Previous experience working on Metro projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to effectively manage and coordinate fit out and facade works, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of design management , with a focus on issue resolution and execution.
  • Proficiency in IT systems such as Bluebeam , Microsoft systems, and Microsoft Project for project tracking and coordination.
  • Motivated, organised, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible construction hours and take direction while learning and growing in the role.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) and Health & Safety (H&S) protocols, ensuring compliance throughout the project.
