About the Role:Nexon is seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect with expertise in enterprise networking, SD-WAN, network security, and network carriage services. The role involves pre-sales activities for new business and renewals, covering mid-market, education, local government, and not-for-profit sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to lead presales engagements, including opportunity qualification, solution architecture, proposal preparation, RFP responses, and presentations.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, conduct workshops, and recommend network/security solutions such as SD-WAN, SASE, Enterprise LAN, Wi-Fi, next-gen firewalls, and network management.
- Develop solution quotes, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOW) for services and managed solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., PMO, sales support, technical SMEs) to ensure solution alignment and customer success.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of presales processes and develop high-performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience in a network-related presales or hybrid network security consultancy/delivery role.
- Familiarity with vendor stacks (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, etc.) and experience in scoping network services like NBN, private fibre, satellite, and data centre hosting.
- Technical hands-on experience with configuration and delivery teams.
- Vendor certifications (Cisco CCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE7, etc.), plus certifications in Azure and AWS public cloud platforms.
- Australian Government Security Clearances.
