You’ll work closely with leaders to navigate people challenges, drive engagement and create a people first culture that makes a difference.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partner with dealership managers to provide expert HR advice and support.
- Bring policies to life making them practical, engaging and effective.
- Lead employee relations and industrial relations matters with confidence.
- Own recruitment and onboarding, making sure top talent finds a great home with us.
- Coach leaders on performance management and team development.
- Use HR insights and data to inform strategic decision making.
- Champion company culture and help shape the future of our people strategy.
- Identify training needs and help drive learning and development initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a P&C generalist role with hands-on involvement in employee relations, industrial relations, and performance management.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work regulations, and best practices in workplace policies and procedures.
- A natural relationship-builder who can partner with managers, influence decision-making, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Proven ability to handle complex HR issues, investigations, and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, with Martian Logic preferred, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment and identifying opportunities for talent growth and retention.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not required.
- A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field is desirable, and membership with a professional HR association (e.g., AHRI) is advantageous.
