This is a great opportunity for a skilled and motivated Senior Policy Officer to join a small, dynamic and fast-paced team tasked with delivering strategic social housing policy and legislative reform. This includes supporting intergovernmental funding reforms and National Housing and Homelessness Plan development, and social housing regulation reforms recommended by an external review and the Victorian Ombudsman.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
* Develop policy initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
* Monitor and report on high priority issues, risks and trends and prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, Cabinet and agency submissions.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships and facilitate the flow of information across the department and with key external stakeholders.
