Are you ready to make a difference as Payroll Officer in our Finance team?
Much more than data entry – The Payroll Officer role is responsible for supporting the whole payroll team to; process fortnightly payrolls and all payroll related matters, maintain accuracy and integrity of payroll system data, assist staff and management with payroll related queries.
You will be part of a friendly and professional team providing Payroll services to a staff of over 450 in a range of departments including early learning, youth mentoring and shared services.

Experience & Competencies
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, payroll or office administration.
- Proficient working in a flexible and autonomous role, with the ability to work from home
- Ability to work autonomously, methodically and prioritise and work efficiently on a fast paced and robust environment.
- Proficient in the use of a payroll system, preferably Employment Hero
- Expert in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Can communicate effectively, with high level computer skills, written and verbal capability.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting awards and agreements

- Hybrid work arrangements – WFH & minimum 1 day per week at our Carrum Downs office
- Flexible working hours – up to 20 hours total – You must be available to work from the Carrum Downs office on Tuesday, the other days and hours can be flexible.
