About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant for our Campaspe Shire program in a Part–time capacity. This position is based out of Echuca

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Clerks Private Sector Award
Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle admin tasks: agendas, minutes, correspondence, weekly newsletter, mail, photocopying, filing, phone calls, and appointment bookings.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination (e.g., Red Shield Appeal, Christmas Party, community events).
  • Oversee Church facility hires, ensuring insurance, agreements, maintenance, and cleaning are in order.
  • Assist with volunteer administration, including training and induction, per TSA policies.
  • Ensure employee and volunteer records are compliant in Workday, in line with TSA and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with IT Helpdesk for office equipment issues (computers, laptops, phones, etc.).
  • Support Doorways and Salvos Connect activities, referring individuals to appropriate services.
  • Handle finance tasks: receipting donations, banking, reconciliations, invoicing, purchasing, obtaining quotes.
  • Maintain worker records per TSA policies, liaising with THQ Departments.
  • Collect and record Corps statistics for Divisional Headquarters and THQ Departments.
  • Report hazards or near misses following TSA procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed by Corps Officers.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the use of software application packages including work processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, databases, communications and record management
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Certificate in Business Administration desirable
  • At least 2 years’ experience in administration
  • A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check
  • A current and valid Working with Children’s Check
  • A valid Victorian Driver's license.
