The Opportunity
The role: Document Production Operator
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for producing high-quality documents? We are seeking a skilled Document Production Operator to join our team in either Sydney, Melbourne, Perth or Brisbane.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality document creation, amendment, and formatting services to both legal practice groups and non-legal functions using a variety of applications.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:

Delivering timely, accurate and high-quality document outputs using a variety of applications (predominantly MS Word)

Ensuring documents comply with Freehills’ Communication Standard and actively promote and encourage compliance
-
Collaborating with DP Manager, DP Team Leader, DP Workflow Coordinators and with fellow team members to meet deadlines
-
Ensuring documents are completed within the stipulated timeframes and communicating effectively with users of the DP service to increase their confidence in utilising the DP team.

Proactively providing suggestions to users of the DP service about document output options (live the role of ‘specialist’)

Promoting the DP service and being highly service focussed

Ensuring technical skills are maintained to a high standard in line with software and application upgrades and responsibility is taken for own learning and development

Complying with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role as set out in legislation and the firms' policies and procedures.
To be successful in this position you will have:

Minimum typing speed of 80wpm (with 98% accuracy)

Advanced level MS Word knowledge and skills (particularly creating, modifying and applying styles; track changes; compare)

Intermediate level MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills
-
Intermediate level MS Excel knowledge and skills
-
Intermediate level MS Visio knowledge and skills
-
Intermediate level Adobe Acrobat Pro
-
Ability to use transcription equipment
-
Accurate proof-reading skills
-
Ability to appropriately prioritise work and juggle multiple and competing deadlines

Proven ability to think ahead, set priorities and to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Strong organisational skills
