Description:
The Bendigo Hospital Project is a Victorian Government project which has delivered a new world-class hospital for the growing needs of the Loddon Mallee regional community of Victoria. Exemplar Health Consortium is the private partner in the public-private partnership (PPP) model for the Bendigo Hospital Project, and delivers a design, build, finance and maintain model.
Role
The project is now in its ninth year of the operating term of the PPP, having successfully operated since January 2017.
The Contracts Manager will focus on commercial and administrative matters arising from overseeing contractual interactions between the project partners. Specific functions include administration of, and compliance with, complex contracts including the Project Agreement, Facilities Management Contract, Services Specification, financing agreements, tenancy agreements and all other associated contractual obligations.
Of critical importance is relationship management of all project stakeholders thorough a comprehensive understanding and governance of the holistic commercial and contractual project arrangements applicable to the various parties.
The role is located in Bendigo, and the successful candidate must be work from this location.
Experience
-
At least 3 years’ experience in the same or similar field.

Suitably qualified to degree level, preferably in commerce or construction/operations management.

Knowledge and understanding of Public Private Partnerships.

Worked within an SPV environment, or on behalf of an Operator/ FM provider/O&M specialist in a commercial/contracts management role. ability to work with various stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and positions of authority; and

Suitably qualified to degree level, preferably in commerce or construction/operations management.
