We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our Melbourne team, with a focus on driving the long-term, sustainable growth of the Packaged Products business in your region. This role offers growth opportunities in two key areas: account management and new business development.

Your Opportunity


In this role you will:



  • Positively influence safety and sustainability at Cement Australia, complying with safety standards and policies
  • Develop new business opportunities, maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities within the region
  • Manage a portfolio of existing account customers, increasing their profitability by implementing effective price and product strategies
  • Ensure customers have account plans that add value to them and support retention
  • Represent Cement Australia at promotional events, customer training and product demonstrations
  • Understand, monitor and report customer and industry trends, business drivers and competitor activity to develop effective Key Account Plans and market strategies
  • Review and act on feedback from customer satisfaction questionnaires to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer relationships


What You’ll Bring



  • Previous experience in an equivalent sales role, preferably within hardware, building materials, construction or mining environments
  • Business to Business or Business to Consumer experience
  • Proven experience establishing, maintaining, engaging and influencing customers at all levels
  • Well-developed selling and negotiation skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work autonomously with a team focus
  • Understanding of strategic account management, familiarity with SAP CRM software would be advantageous
  • Previous experience creating sales forecasts
  • Flexibility for overnight travel as required
