About the Role
The WHS Administrator will work with the WHS Systems and Governance Lead in partnership with Baptcare management and staff to contribute to organisational performance and employee engagement through assisting management and staff to become superior performers; and, when significant change is required, transforming the organisation in the achievement of new directions and goals.
The primary purpose of the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Administrator is to support the WHS Systems and Governance Lead and the wider Work Health and Safety team to improve Health and safety performance, by Preparing safety reports, improving data quality, managing WHS Documents and Records, and maintaining Intranet Pages.
Key Duties
- improving data quality based on Baptcare processes to inform WHS improvement strategies
- managing the document life cycle to help the Systems and Governance Lead simplify the documents that Baptcare needs
- manage records to help WHS team find historical records to manage past incidents and help guide improvements
- providing reports on safety performance to help front line focus on their risks and improve safety
- updating Baptcare’s WHS intranet
- supporting the WHS team to simplify and improve supporting WHS administrative processes
- coordinate WHS Communications, including monitoring group email inboxes
- maintaining WHS Intranet (SharePoint).
Key Performance Indicators
- WHS documents are current and up to date
- Timely and accurate reporting, delivered within set timeframes (weekly and monthly reports)
- WHS intranet pages are maintained and kept current and up to date
WHS communications are monitored and appropriately managed
