About the Role

Our high profile Employment & Industrial practice is recognised as a market leader and has represented trade unions and individuals in landmark cases. We now have an exciting opportunity in Melbourne CBD office to join our team as a Legal Assistant on either a part time or full time, permanent basis.

As a Legal Assistant in our Employment & Industrial team, you will:

  • Provide accurate updates and information to clients in a timely manner, ensuring expectations are managed effectively.
  • Oversee the administration of client files from opening to closure, maintaining a high standard of organisation.
  • Draft and produce client correspondence with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Handle and action all incoming post promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare and process client invoices with accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
  • Perform a range of general administrative tasks as required to support the team.

  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering work of the highest standard.
  • Excellent and tactful communication skills, including verbal, written, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Sound judgement in escalating issues or information to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
