About the opportunity
As the Maintenance Performance Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the development of Aircraft Maintenance (DM) schedules and reports to support the on-time delivery of C-130J aircraft. The role is responsible to provide effective project planning and reporting for C-130J aircraft allocated to Airbus maintenance.
About the role
Reporting into the Manager Richmond Maintenance, via the Manager Maintenance Control & Planning, this role will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure aircraft entry and exit from Base Maintenance and will maintain adherence to the maintenance schedule to align with the overall C-130J Fleet Plan.
This will include:
* Creating, updating and analysing of the schedule and servicing data for each aircraft in servicing
* Creation of the relevant internal and external reporting requirements as per the current business policies and procedures
* Using the MCPS tool to extract, create, monitor and report on servicing in support of the maintenance teams
Some of your day-to-day activities will include:
* Raise and manage all paper-based maintenance documentation packs required for scheduled and unscheduled aeronautical product and aircraft servicing.
* Assist the CAMM2 Data Manager / Maintenance Controller in AMD anomalies investigations as required.
* Arrange DM production meetings, taking accurate notes and follow up actions
* Assist with the production of a schedule of works detailing scope of work and Time to Make Serviceable (TMS) for all DM maintenance activities.
* Assist the MCS and planning team where required.
About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The skills and experience best suited to this role include:
* Knowledge of maintenance management, including maintenance management systems, planning, equipment
* A detailed knowledge of data analysis, data verification and data collating processes
* Knowledge of compiling comprehensive schedules, dashboards and reports for maintenance environment
* Ability to understand, interpret and complete high level data analysis
* Sound Excel skills to provide dynamic schedules, reports and analysis to internal management and external customers assisting them with a successful path forward
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction
Other qualifications, skills and experience that would assist you to succeed in this role include (but are not mandatory):
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills, (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures) and/or technical or maintenance experience in the aviation or relevant industry
* Cert IV in Project Management or relevant experience
* Certificate in Data Science or Business Analytics
* High level of data collection, data analysis and experience developing maintenance schedules
* Knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
* Knowledge of the interpretation and use of technical publications
