We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Electrical Switchboard Draftsman to join our team. As an integral member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for electrical switchboard systems and components using AutoCAD or other CAD software. Responsibilities
As the AutoCAD draftsman for electrical switchboards designs and you will require to draw electrical wiring and layout diagrams for switchboards and control panels. You may also supervise the installation and repair of electrical equipment and systems.
- Design and draw electrical wiring and layout diagrams
- Supervise the installation of electrical equipment and systems
- Supervise the repair of equipment and wiring
- Create visual guidelines for construction purposes
Skills and Experience
- Experience as a draftsman ideally in Switchboards
- Experience with switchboard or control panel manufacturing a MUST
- Experience with AutoCAD products, AutoDesk Inventor 3D or similar
- Background in switchboard or sheet metal manufacture
- Electrical Trade or engineering qualification
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints
- MUST be a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

- $40- $45 hr + Super
- Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm
