Based from Sydney's western suburbs, this large team of industry experts specialise in electrical engineering for Government, Heavy Industry, Food and Utilities. This is a National professional and stable business boasting over 40 years of successful operation and consistent growth, with a strong focus on building strong relationships with their valued clients.
Their product range includes Australian-designed and manufactured LV and HV power distribution products. Managing client needs in-house, from design and sheet metal fabrication to assembly, testing, installation, and project management, across our three manufacturing facilities across Australia.
Project Manager - Switchboard Manufacturing
Due to continued growth there is a new opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the business and contribute toward expanding their company footprint within the Electrical Engineering & Manufacturing sector. This opportunity will see you specialise in managing multiple projects through the full engineering cycle. Including the following Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and reviewing detailed engineering design.
- Procurement of equipment ensuring a best product best price method.
- Monitoring the construction of products as they move through the factory liaising with production staff to ensure an efficient build.
- Contracts administration, contracts management and project scheduling.
- Financial controlling projects.
- Forecasting and reporting to management on the projects you control.
- Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Customer relationships and confidence.

Who are we looking for?
This is the perfect new career opportunity for an industry professional who bring a strong knowledge of the industrial sector and a passion for securing new business opportunities. You will also demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Electrical Trade Qualifications or Engineering quaifications
- Experience in Switchboard project managing
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels, maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry suppliers
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of electrical industry and safety standards, including the Electrical Safety Act and AS3000:2007
