About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our client's team on a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Compiling and analyzing financial information
- Developing integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
- Ensuring that financial information is recorded accurately
- Identifying trends and developments in competitive environments
- Presenting findings to senior management
- Performing financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
The ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of experience in the field or a related area
- A chartered accountant with knowledge of relevant accounting standards
- Familiarity with a variety of financial concepts, practices, and procedures
- The ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Experience in performing a variety of complicated tasks
- The capability to lead and direct the work of others
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
