About the role:
As a Tender Writer , you will be responsible for managing and producing high-quality, compelling tenders and Public Sector Agreements (PSAs). Working across a variety of sectors and opportunities, you will play a key role in helping secure critical contracts, build long-lasting client relationships, and ultimately, drive their growth.
You will be involved in every stage of the tendering process, from interpreting tender requirements, developing responses, and tailoring proposals to match client needs, to submitting and following up on bids. A strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a deep understanding of the procurement process will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit detailed, high-quality tenders, proposals, and PSAs that meet or exceed client requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to gather relevant information and ensure all responses are tailored to the client's needs.
- Manage multiple tenders and proposals simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and high standards are maintained.
- Develop a deep understanding of tendering requirements, submission guidelines, and relevant sector-specific needs.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to ensure alignment on key business strategies and goals.
- Proofread and review responses to ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with tender specifications.
- Build and maintain a strong knowledge base of successful tenders and market trends to continuously improve our approach.
- Develop and refine the company's tendering processes and templates.
About you:
- Proven experience in tender writing working across complex and large valued tenders.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of the tendering and PSA process and a strong understanding of procurement guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working remotely and managing your own workload is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with tender management systems is a plus.
