Description:
We are seeking 2 Site Engineers and 2 Project Engineers to join a major civil infrastructure project in Queensland. Our client, a leading civil contractor, is looking for experienced professionals to play key roles in a large-scale civil works program, including bulk earthworks and compliance with DTMR standards.The Role: As part of the engineering team, you will be involved in the delivery of civil works, including bulk earthworks, site preparation, and project coordination. You will be working with a dynamic team to ensure the efficient execution of the project, meeting all required safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Engineers will manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring quality control, safety, and coordination of contractors, with a strong focus on bulk earthworks and civil works.
- Project Engineers will be responsible for overseeing the project scope, schedule, and budget. They will liaise with stakeholders, ensure compliance with DTMR regulations, and provide technical solutions to challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Proven experience working on large civil infrastructure projects with a focus on bulk earthworks
- Familiarity with DTMR standards and requirements
- Site Engineers should have hands-on experience with site management and operations in bulk earthworks or similar civil works
- Project Engineers should have experience managing civil infrastructure projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and working with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong technical expertise in civil works, with an emphasis on bulk earthworks
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a DIDO roster environment
- A focus on safety, quality, and environmental sustainability
