About the Role
As part of the Supervisor/Assistant Manager role your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

The Preparation and management of statutory compliance work
-
Assistance with providing tax advice to clients
-
Preparation of management reports for clients under the direction of the Manager or Director
-
Planning of work production and allocation of jobs
-
Assisting junior team members in completing their work
-
Some responsibility for workflow management and reviewing of files
-
Budgeting of individual jobs
About You:
To be successful in this role you will bring:

Excellent communication skills – both within your team and with clients

Responsibility, integrity and a professional outlook

A team-focussed attitude with a confident and friendly personality

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and identify and deal with problems as they arise

Experience in managing a variety of tasks simultaneously despite changing priorities and requirements
-
Xero, MYOB knowledge essential. APS knowledge desirable.
We would expect that you are:
-
Completed CA program
-
Degree qualified in Accounting, Business or Commerce
Along with experience in using:
-
Accounting software packages i.e., Xero, QuickBooks Online, Reckon & MYOB
-
APS Practice Manager and related software will be favourably regarded, however is not essential.
