What You Will Be Doing

Peninsula Health holds the specialist portfolio for adults who use violence, the majority of whom are men. The role focuses on assessing and connecting with Adults Using Family Violence (AUFV) to ascertain risk and support safety planning for people experiencing family violence. You’ll be part of an integrated with specialist practitioners from other organisations that form the Bayside Peninsula Area (BPA) Orange Door consortium.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Social Work/Social Science or related fields.
  • Qualifications must align with the Mandatory Minimum Qualification Requirements for Specialist Family Violence Practitioner (Recommendation 209)
  • Experience in related Family Violence, child wellbeing or family services sectors
  • Demonstrated risk management and safety planning skills and a familiarity with the Multi Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) tool.

*Please refer to Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021 – 2026 salary circular for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
