About the role
As the Undergraduate social media Officer you will be responsible for delivering, engaging and educational social media content and activities for the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator, to internal and external stakeholders, in line with the organisation’s strategic objectives and branding.
Key responsibilities of this role are:
- Develop engaging social media content aligned with the NHVR social media strategy
- Support the Manager Campaigns and Social Media team in implementing the NHVR social media strategy and campaign strategies
- Support community management on NHVR’s social media channels – through responding to comments and direct messages with accurate, timely and customer-focused information
- Monitor social media platforms to identify issues and trends, and report on activity to improve performance and inform the organisation
- Prepare content to support broader campaign work – including newsletter articles, presentations, reporting and other communications collateral
Please note: This is a part time role offering 3 days per week for a 6-month period.

About You
To be successful in this role you will possess :
- In your final years of working towards tertiary qualifications in marketing, media, communication or related field
- Experience working with social media management tools
- Experience with developing content for social media – whether with Adobe, CapCut or Canva
- Experience in developing content for social media – Meta, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and TikTok
- Demonstrated experience in social media community management
