What’s on offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with experienced HSE Advisor for our Water Projects within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Assist with implementation of Fulton Hogan health and safety systems and strategies

  • Provide health and safety specialist advice, technical and management support

  • Undertake risk assessments of complex tasks collaboratively with internal and subcontractor delivery teams

  • Implement and Maintain strategies to prevent and minimise workplace injuries

  • Implementation and custodian of the businesses safety management systems on site

  • As required- Conduct thorough incident investigation and facilitate the sharing of lessons learned relevant to improving safety performance

  • Provide governance through scheduled audits and inspections of management plans, procedures, and activity risk to ensure practices align with business, client and legislative requirements.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry. Exposure to mechanical and electrical infrastructure (desirable)

  • ICAM lead Investigator (desirable) and Injury Management experience

  • Current First Aid certificate

  • Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation

  • Quality / Safety Internal Auditor (desirable)

  • Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan’s Living Safely Culture.
