About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to focus their efforts on developing their expertise and emerging research profile in the epidemiology of women’s health.
In this role, you will conduct statistical analysis of large, longitudinal datasets to produce high quality evidence addressing current knowledge gaps on women’s reproductive health across the lifecourse. You will be involved in development of tools to assist health professionals in the field, and will also take an active role in the supervision of RHD students and be involved in funding applications.
Key responsibilities will include:

Analysing large longitudinal datasets from the Australian Longitudinal Study on Women's Health and datasets from other associated cohort studies to produce quality research outputs for publication or exhibition in high quality outlets;

Participating in applications for competitive research funding to support projects and activities.

Working with colleagues in the development of joint research projects and applications for competitive research funding support.

Developing partnerships, demonstrating leadership through mentoring, engaging in internal service roles and committees, performing administrative functions, providing support to colleagues, and upholding university values.

About You
-
Completion or near completion of a PhD in the epidemiology of women's health.

Advanced knowledge and experience using SAS to analyse large datasets (particularly cohort data).

An emerging profile in research in epidemiology of women's health.

Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.

Evidence of contributions towards successfully obtaining external research funding.

Some experience in meaningful internal service roles and contributions towards external activities
