Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures and buildings in a safe and efficient manner. The Builder will work closely with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required for each project
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, squares, or other measuring devices
• Cut, shape, and join materials using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and hammers
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter’s hand and power tools
• Inspect and repair damaged structures and buildings, including roofs, walls, and foundations
• Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, and project managers, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including tools, equipment, and work areas

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentry or a related field
• Proven experience as a Builder or similar role
• Strong knowledge of building materials, tools, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
