Our client is a leading food service distributor with their head office based in the central Gold Coast region. Due to growth of the company, they are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join the team and lead their marketing initiatives.
Working with the management team, you will be focused on developing and implementing high-impact marketing strategies to accelerate online sales, enhance brand awareness, and expand their B2B customer base.
Who would it suit?
We are seeking a strategic digital marketer that understands what is needed to engage their B2B client base and deliver results for the business. You will be experienced in formulating and delivering on digital marketing strategy, absolutely love data analytics and crunching the numbers to deliver results, and you will have a sound knowledge of social media, web and ecommerce.
Task that you will undertake in the role:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness and drive sales growth
- Manage all digital and traditional marketing initiatives, including content creation, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and promotional campaigns
- Oversee website management, ensuring it is optimised for customer engagement and e-commerce functionality (potentially integrating with usepepper.com)
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, including seasonal and event-based marketing, in collaboration with the sales and purchasing teams
- Work with key stakeholders to develop marketing collateral, product catalogues, and communication materials
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Support Account Managers and Sales Reps with customer engagement strategies, including targeted promotions and client communication
- Collaborate with the purchasing and sales teams to align marketing efforts with stock levels and product availability
- Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using data to refine strategies and improve ROI
Requirements for the role include:
- Significant digital marketing experience as well as a strong background in customer acquisition, re-engagement and retention strategies
- Preferable to have experience in the FMCG / food industry, but not essential
- Hands-on experience with eCommerce and CRM/ERP systems to drive automation and personalised marketing
- A sound understanding of business and customer buying patterns and very strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful online marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth
- Experience working with external agencies for PPC, SEO and analysing reports
- Adaptable and innovative, and on the pulse of the latest trends
- Strategic, hands on and results driven, with a passion for continuous improvement
