Your part in Buderim Private Hospital team

An opportunity has become available for a Medical Education Coordinator at Buderim Private Hospital to join the UnitingCare Clinical School to organise world-class education to local and international medical students.

This role will oversee the operations and activities of UnitingCare Clinical School, ensuring efficient and effective operation of the school. This role will also coordinate the educational and administrative requirements of medical students and the UCH Clinical School through the delivery of high quality student academic support services within the UnitingCare Hospitals.

You will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Visiting Medical Officers, Nursing staff, hospital teams and other education units throughout BPH.
  • Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to successfully manage needs, expectation, mitigate risks and support change for the Clinical School.
  • Develop (in conjunction with the VMPs) and maintain the content and structure of training and education initiatives to meet the needs of medical student training in clinical applications.
  • Provide real-time, actionable feedback to students on their professional performance and participation. Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment, mentoring students to achieve academic and professional success.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously
