We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Apprenticeship Consultant to join the Team within Mas National in Hobart, TAS.

Mas National is contracted by the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) to deliver Australian Apprenticeship Support Services (AASS) across multiple states. Our knowledgeable and passionate team support employers, relevant stakeholders and individuals from pre-commencement through to completion of an apprenticeship/traineeship.
About the Role
Apprenticeship Consultants play a very important role in the management of Australian apprenticeships/traineeships by promoting pathways to meet Australian workforce development needs.
Apprenticeship Consultants also provide a high level of consistent customer service to our Apprentices/Trainees, employers and key stakeholders through provision of advice, training contract administration and monitoring. Apprenticeship Consultants are committed to the delivery of the account management process as well as displaying excellent communication and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify employment opportunities leading to an apprenticeship/traineeship
- Actively engage out of trade apprentices in job through reverse marketing to suitable employers including GTOs in our network and the general market.
- Develop and maintain strong industry links and stakeholder engagement
- Attend career expos and provide access to advice and hands on use of the tools of trade.
- Monitor active Apprentices and Trainees, supporting them through to a successful completion
- Collaborate with Workforce Austria and Disability Employment Services providers to assist with impartial advice about Vocational Education and Training and appropriate apprenticeship and traineeship pathways.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship system and VET sector (highly desirable)
- Proven experience in a Business Development related or similar role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to clients
- Proven ability to meet and exceed set targets and KPIs
- Highly motivated and outcome focused
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Certificate IV or higher in Business, Marketing or a related discipline is highly desirable
- Current and valid driver's license
