Our Trade Assistant is responsible for assisting Tradesman while providing support ongoing assessment and analysis of vehicle condition to ensure that the systems and appropriate actions are in place to maintain contractual compliance.

Joining the Maintenance Team in Dry Creek as Trade Assistant will see you:-
- Meet the requirements of a rail safety worker.
- Open to working shifts - (if required)
- Skills using battery and hand held tools
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Work in a team environment or unsupervised, as required.
- Knowledge and commitment to Safety ensuring a safe workplace for all
- Following instructions to complete tasks, and the ability to work both in a team and independent environment.
- General workshop duties
You will work alongside a variety of other team members from other Trade Professional, Trade Assistants to Store People and many more, in this site
Profile
To be sucessful in this role you must:
- Hold at least a provisional driver's license and possess reliable transportation.
- Prior experience as a trade assistant worker or construction trade assistant.
- Forklift license (beneficial)
- Possess a White Construction Card to demonstrate your expertise.
- Hold a valid Working at Heights Card to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also demonstrating self-direction and the ability to think creatively.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and proud of the work you produce.
- Display maturity, honesty, and reliability in all aspects of your responsibilities.
- Adhere to clients policies and procedures to meet regulatory safety requirements.
