We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to provide essential administrative and HR support as our team transitions to a business partnering model. If you have a strong understanding of HR practices and enjoy working in an administrative capacity, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice and support on policies, procedures, and award interpretation.
- Handle a variety of administrative tasks, including records management, HR correspondence, and meeting/event coordination.
- Implement HR processes related to staff movements, leave, injury management, and more.
- Prepare employment contracts, secondments, and assist with annual reviews.
- Lead the casual conversion process and update job descriptions as required.
- Manage the HR Advisor inbox, respond to queries, and escalate when necessary.
- Collaborate with the HR Business Partner team to support employee excellence.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, industrial relations, and privacy legislation.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Desirable:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Experience in Aged Care, health, or a similar industry.
