We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to supporting engineering and construction operations, ensuring projects meet technical requirements and industry standards, such as the Building Code. The ideal candidate will be involved in construction data collection, building material analysis, site inspections, and technical assessments to contribute to the smooth execution of various civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in gathering and analyzing technical data to support project planning and engineering decisions.

2. Estimate material costs, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.

3. Inspect construction sites, track project progress, assist in resolving technical issues, and help manage engineering changes.

4. Perform assessments of materials and soil through to assess site conditions and ensure compatibility with project requirements.

5. Evaluate the quality of materials and ensure they meet necessary standards for construction.

6. Help develop and review project timelines, ensuring schedules are accurate and realistic.

7. Support geotechnical investigations, including sampling soil and rock, and assisting with site analysis.

8. Compile technical documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with industry standards and project guidelines.

Requirements:

1. At least hold Diploma Qualification.

2. Minimum of five years of relevant work experience as a Civil Engineering Technician.

3. Experience in construction, site inspections, and materials testing.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

5. Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
