With a strong commitment to Hope, Kindness, Respect, Fairness, and Integrity, this organisation delivers strength-based, trauma-informed care, ensuring young people and their families receive the support they need.As part of the Enhanced Care Team, you will work closely with the Royal Darwin Hospital Child and Adolescent Eating Disorder Service to provide coordinated, family-focused treatment for young people with emerging or established eating disorders.ROLE 1: Mental Health Clinician (Eating Disorders)Part Time - 4 days per weekSalary $83,929.23 - $86,282.48 + Super + Salary Packaging ($15,900 annually) + 5 Weeks Annual LeaveProvide intensive, flexible case coordination and targeted interventions for young people experiencing eating disorders.Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including Family-Based Therapy (FBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E).Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, risk assessments, and treatment planning for young people and their families.Offer psychoeducation and therapeutic support to young people, caregivers, and support networks.Work collaboratively with medical, nutritional, and psychological professionals to develop tailored, multidisciplinary treatment plans.Support crisis interventions for young people presenting with significant distress or acute risk factors.ROLE 2: Senior Clinician (Eating Disorders) Full Time - 5 days per weekSalary $92,053.43 - $95,450.26 + Super + Salary packaging ($15,900 annually) and 5 weeks annual leaveAll Clinician Duties Plus:Provide clinical leadership and act as a senior resource for evidence-based eating disorder interventions.Supervise, mentor, and provide secondary consultations to other clinicians, allied health staff, and external service providers.Strengthen shared care models and partnerships with medical, psychological, and social services to ensure integrated, wraparound support.Develop and contribute to policies, clinical frameworks, and best-practice guidelines to enhance service delivery.Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and program development to improve treatment outcomes.Deliver clinical training and education to enhance the capacity of professionals working in youth mental health.Skills & RequirementsApproved tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or a related Allied Health field.Registration with AHPRA (for psychologists/OTs) or membership with a professional body (e.g., AASW for social workers).Experience in youth mental health, eating disorders, or related clinical practice.Minimum 3 years' experience in mental health, eating disorders, or complex case management. (senior clinician)Proven ability to conduct clinical supervision, case consultation, and mentoring. (senior clinician)Experience in service development, clinical governance, and stakeholder collaboration.
