Description:
QRIDA is seeking an individual to support the design, development and establishment of financial assistance programs including: leading the development of subordinate legislation and service agreements to establish new financial assistance programs and support existing programs; and leading the development of program policy and design for financial assistance programs delivered on behalf of government agencies. For the full selection criteria, please refer to the role description attached.Please note this role is a job share Temporary Part-time role (FTE 0.50) up to 30 January 2026.
Key Responsibilities And Duties Undertaken By The Role Include
- Leading and coordinating the development of subordinate legislation and service level agreements for new and existing financial assistance programs.
- Leading and providing expert advice towards developing program policy and design for financial assistance programs.
- Representing QRIDA and presenting at program owner and stakeholder meetings and forums as required.
- Managing and leading the development of tender responses for new financial assistance programs or other related services.

As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for more than 30 years.
As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Minister for Manufacturing, and Minister for Regional and Rural Development.
QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
