As part of our expanding team, we’re looking for a versatile, hardworking Welder/Fabricator who is ready to take on a dynamic role. You’ll work on a variety of welding and fabrication projects and also assist with sports construction and surfacing when no welding work is scheduled.
Role Overview:
This is a hybrid position for a skilled Welder/Fabricator with the ability to transition between welding and sports construction tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabricating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on a wide range of projects, including metal structures, equipment, and custom designs.
- Ensure all welds are up to industry standards for quality, safety, and durability.
- Operate welding equipment, grinders, and other tools safely and efficiently.
- Transition to sports construction and surfacing tasks during downtime or when welding projects are complete.
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of sports surfaces, including basketball courts, tennis courts, and synthetic turf fields.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet client specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with strong skills in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Familiarity with construction and surfacing for sports facilities or willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
