Role Introduction:
Staff Australia is currently looking for a skilled Welder /Fabricator to join our client, a leading manufacturer of logistics-based cages and metal pallets. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with long-term growth potential.
This role is ideal for someone with welding experience who takes pride in their workmanship and wants to contribute to the maintenance and repair of essential logistics equipment.

Located in Brendale, our client is Australia's leading supplier of high-quality and trusted material handling equipment. With 20+ years in the industry, they service some of the biggest names in the logistics and retail sectors Australia wide.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities:
In this position you will…
- Perform welding repairs on metal cages and pallets, ensuring structural integrity.
- Use grinders, oxy-cutting equipment, and spray painting for finishing repairs.
- Operate machinery and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct quality checks on finished work to meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Experience / Required Skills:
To Be Successful, You Will Have:
- Experience in welding (MIG, TIG, or general fabrication techniques).
- Ability to use grinders, oxy-cutting tools, and other metalworking equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repairs.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Forklift licence is a plus but not essential.
